Some guidance before the move:
- protection of goods (boxes, bubbles)
- if you have something fragile, mark it properly on the box
- if you choose you own packing, such goods are adequately to protect
- enable acces to the relocation sites
- as for the valuable things we recommend to move them separately
Who to inform about moving:
- school, bank, post office, neighbors
- telepfhone operator
- insurance
- clinic/doctor
- employer
- Subscribed newspapers and periodicals
- municipality /administative authority
Most common mistakes when moving:
- you forget the keys to the new home
- you have forgotten to remove everything that is not glued or nailed on
- you have forgotten to unsubscribe magazines and newspapers at the old adress
- you have forgotten to disconnect the appliances that were left in the office, apartment, house
- to close the inlet of water, gas, electricity…
- to meet your liabilities: various slips you receive at a later date…
